Q-con GmbH comprises a multi-disciplinary team of geophysicists, seismologists, geologists and rock physicists. We offer a comprehensive services package for managing the risks associated with induced seismicity. This encompasses the expert risk assessment in the planning stage, the seismological monitoring of operational activities, the use of traffic light systems for risk reduction, data interpretation, and the numerical modeling of underground processes. We support projects in the field of deep geothermal energy and other subsurface technologies, such as mining, hydrocarbon extraction, underground storage, CO2 - sequestration, and thermal energy storage. We also accompany our customers on their journey through the official approval process of their projects and help create an effective dialogue with the public. We continuously strive to expand our knowledge by conducting our own research as well as actively contributing to research projects funded by the industry and public. We aim to promote a better understanding of induced seismicity by regularly publishing the results of our research in leading peer-reviewed journals.
