However they are packaged sterile saturated in saline; they are much softer and more flexible exhibiting significant lubricity, advanced easily through an endoscope working channel or through a urethral sheath over a guidewire. Once implanted Aguamedicina™ device absorbs physiological energies generally responsible for device migration. In this manner, the Aguamedicina™ Persistent™ and FUSELAGE™ Ureteral Stent will act like a spring or shock absorber maintaining position until removal is required.
