QAI (Qualified Accredited Investor) is the advanced standard of Sophistication for Venture Capitalists, Angels, Founders, and others participating or wishing to participate in the startup investing economy. The core of QAI is a FINRA-level exam that assesses a candidate’s competency on 12 categories including Regulatory, Fundamentals, Deal Evaluation, Revenue Modeling, Financials, Valuation, Equity, and Deal Structure. Those that receive a score of 70% or better will be certified QAI, signifying an advanced level of Sophistication.
