Qanun seeks to disseminate the knowledge of human rights issues at two levels: both the legal, human rights specialists’ level, such as those working in judicial and security institutions, and at the non-specialists’ level, as well. This will, in turn, make human rights visible, not only in the academic world, but also reflected to the general culture, as well.
Qanun works to be the leading Arabic platform supporting human rights research and studies, by building a library containing Arabic primary sources and comprehensive archives of human rights instruments, enriching the Arabic content with reliable and in-depth studies of human rights issues, and disseminating human rights culture in the Arab world.
