QED Battery is a company created to exploit non-lithium battery storage technology. Originally a self-funded desktop research project, it has evolved into an R&D collaboration with three Canadian Universities supported by grant funding from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) and MITACS (Mathematics of Information Technology and Complex Systems) Canada.
