Quinte Museum of Natural History’s mission is to inspire discovery, conservation and stewardship of our natural heritage. A visit to a natural history museum sets people on a lifelong course of wonder and excitement regarding the natural world around them. Our vision is to open that door and set imagination alight. Quinte Museum of Natural History (QMNH) aims to deliver excellence in education through innovative programs, to serve a broad and diverse audience through its offerings of exhibits, to remove barriers and strive to make its resources accessible to everyone, and to promote sustainability for the conservation and protection of our natural environment. Through these goals, QMNH will uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in developing a critical new museum for the communities of Quinte West, the Bay of Quinte Region, the province and the nation.
