Kyiv International School

Established in 1992, Kyiv International School (KIS) provides a comprehensive educational program for students from Pre-K to grade 12, welcoming learners of all nationalities. The school operates from August to June and offers a performance-based, mastery-learning curriculum delivered in English. Modeled after U.S. public and private schools, KIS takes advantage of small class sizes and the diverse backgrounds of its students to deliver personalized instruction. As an IB World School, KIS offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma to students in grades 11 and 12, alongside a robust secondary program that includes Advanced Placement (AP) courses and the AP Capstone project. Students have access to a broad range of advanced courses to prepare for university. KIS also offers world languages from grades 2-12, including Ukrainian, Spanish, French, and German. In addition to its strong academic program, students engage in a variety of interscholastic sports and co-curricular activities.
