Queer & Trans In STEM at UCLA

Queers in STEM is an organization for LGBTQ+ Student in STEM fields at UCLA. The goal of the organization is promoting inclusivity in these fields and empowering people who are not as comfortable being open toward their colleagues. Initially, the group is going to be a space for engaging in dialogue about research and the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ people in these fields. As we gain more membership, we are planning to host professional development events, and invite speakers who are LGBTQ+ STEM professionals in academia and industry.
