QU4TRE - Liège Média

Qu4tre Liège Média is one of the twelve local television stations in the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles (Belgium). These channels are broadcast via the cable network (VOO, Proximus, Orange). Local television stations are governed by the Fédération Wallonie-Bruxelles. The first organic decree dates from 1985. The last one from 2003. The legal structure is a non-profit association under private law. The management bodies of this structure are composed on a pluralistic basis, bringing together all the democratic components of society. The association is governed by a board of directors (35 members) and an executive committee (8 members). The annual budget is around €2,750,000. Funding is provided partly by public subsidies (49%), partly by the station's activities (advertising) (51%). Some thirty people are responsible for the activities of RTC Télé Liège. The channel's basic missions are to ensure the information, animation, cultural development and ongoing education of the populations concerned by promoting community participation.
