Quality Tomato Morocco

Quality Tomato Morocco is a subsidiary of Agro Care Growers. With an area of over 260 hectares of high tech greenhouses, Agro Care Growers has become one of the largest tomato producers in Europe. We grow tomatoes in various varieties to meet the requirements of the large retail organizations. We grow on the European continent and in both Morocco and Tunisia. Producing with an eye for people and nature is paramount at Agro Care. The Agadir region is a horticultural hotspot. Tomatoes, peppers, blueberries and raspberries are grown there. Cultivation takes place in plastic film greenhouses, which are common in this region. Greenhouses are not heated. In addition to the 18 hectares of our own greenhouses, external 'outgrowers' also contribute to production. Agro Care supports them with growing advice and with the supply of materials under favourable conditions. This fits in with the strategy of entering into long-term relationships with growers. Through Fairtrade certification, we also contribute to better living conditions for the local population.
