The breathtaking developments of modern quantum science and technology, known today as the 2nd quantum revolution, would have been unthinkable without Austria´s pioneering contributions, which include groundbraking experimental and theoretical works originating from research on the foundations of quantum mechanics that go from quantum teleportation over quantum computers and quantum cryptography to quantum simulation. Quantum Science Austria has this core mission: to tackle cutting-edge fundamental questions that can only be answered by combining the unique expertise available in Austria and to intensify basic, blue-sky, collaborative research in quantum science.
