Quarantined Chefs

Ever since COVID hit, a lot of people have taken to cooking and selling food, be it as a hobby or as their primary source of income due to the loss of jobs. This platform is basically for these home based chefs to showcase their business. Yes, food delivery apps do exist which perform a similar objective. But from my personal observation, these apps usually cater to full-fledged restaurants who are able to put out food on demand as they have the capital, staff and other means to do so. In contrast, a home-based chef who could be a home-maker too, wouldn't be able to put out food on demand and hence would rather be contacted directly through one of the social media platforms where they could share details about availability, new dishes, pricing, delivery, etc. This platform was created purely out of goodwill to help the community in these challenging times. There are absolutely no charges associated with the platform and it is completely free to register. Presently, the platform is only open to people based in Goa.
