Queen's Vision & Ocular Sciences Society

The Queen's Vision and Ocular Sciences Society (QVOSS) was founded with the objective of providing undergraduate students with unique opportunities to learn about the different positions held within the field of ocular medicine. QVOSS aims to accomplish this by coordinating speaking events with professionals in the field, providing case competitions for members involved, facilitating mentorships between members and doctors, and delivering hands-on learning experiences in the form of skill labs, and observerships. The executive team is currently comprised of five members as this society is actively being established. However, the number of executive members is expected to grow in the future. As a new group, we are actively pursuing ratification from the Alma Mater Society at Queen's University while also seeking support from other related clubs, organizations, professors, and graduate students.
