Queen's Kaleidoscope

Queen's Kaleidoscope is an AMS ratified club at Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario. Our volunteers provide academic and social support to local elementary school students who are considered "at-risk" by their teachers. These students (or "Little Buddies") are nominated for our program for a variety of reasons, but all of them benefit from the one-on-one support they receive from their "Big Buddies." Volunteers meet with their "Little Buddy" for an hour each week for a combination of learning and fun - activities can include homework help, crafts, games, and more! This year, we are working exclusively with students from the Limestone District School Board's Virtual Elementary School to provide support for students learning at home during COVID-19.
