Queer Motherland

Ubuntu: “I am because we are” Queer Motherland is a Non-Profit Organization aimed at educating people on the history of Queerness in Africa. Queer Motherland educates on how Africa has always been queer, and we will always be queer. We advocate for the community expansion of LGBTQ+ Africans worldwide to come together and recognize that their Queerness has always been a part of their pre-colonial history. Education about your history is one step towards liberation. Queer Motherland is dedicated to educating the public about the history of Queerness in Africa and providing a community for Queer Africans in Diaspora.
