Querido Honours College

The Querido Honours College (QHC) is an extracurricular program designed for talented and ambitious medical students at Erasmus University Rotterdam. The QHC program enables participants to become acquainted with the intersection of medicine, science, and society. Participating students take part in the QHC during the second half of their first year and throughout their entire second and third years of study. Each semester, the students focus on a different theme. In each theme, at least five experts from within or outside Erasmus MC are invited to discuss with the students. Prior to the discussion, the guest gives a brief introduction, followed by an open, interactive discussion. The social involvement is evident, for example, in teaching primary school students and collaborating with Gezondheidsstudenten In De Samenleving (GIDS).
