QuietSpace was founded by Maria Therese in 2017 with the vision of bringing Japanese inspired tatami rooms into the hearts of organisations to support employee wellbeing and selfcare practices at work. Japanese tatami rooms are often treasured for their simplicity and for supporting contemplative practices, such as mindfulness and meditation. QuietSpace has its showroom and workplace studio at the very top of Matrikel1, a vibrant hub in the heart of Copenhagen, designed for entrepreneurs, startups, and creatives. As part of the Mesh Community, Matrikel1 fosters innovation, collaboration, and new opportunities for its members—offering everything from networking events to wellness initiatives, including individual or team meditations in QuietSpace.
