The tavern itself is a mystical place that exists at the crossroads between our real ‘Primary’ world and the fantastical ‘Secondary’ world of heroic adventures and wild imagination! The great J.R.R. Tolkien himself used these terms, of Primary and Secondary Worlds, during an academic lecture where he set out to define and advocate for the very concept of the genre of fantasy itself.
