QuinSpark Investment Partners is an independent hotel investment manager and operating partner established in 2023 by Frédéric de Brem and Stéphane Obadia who previously contributed to the creation and development of Algonquin between 2003 and 2018. With a portfolio of c. 2 billion euros in hotel assets, Algonquin was sold to Schroders in 2018, and Frédéric de Brem and Stéphane Obadia remained with Schroders for an additional five years.
Since the creation of Algonquin and their departure in 2023, they have implemented more than 120 acquisitions in the European 3, 4, and 5-star hotel sector, with an investment volume of approximately 4 billion euros. These acquisitions were made through the development of multiple partnerships with institutional investors, family offices and private equity funds, whether through joint ventures or through investment funds dedicated to this asset class.
QuinSpark is the new investment and asset management vehicle of these two entrepreneurs who target to develop a portfolio of hospitality assets in Europe alongside investment partners.
