The beautiful Quinta do Sorilhal is a 270-year-old rural property located in the picturesque village of Parada do Bouro, on the left bank of the Cávado River, by Peneda Gerês National Park. Built in granite in the year 1750 and of countless historical value, the house where tourists stay today was inhabited by the Captain-Major of the region and is part of the Portuguese Architectural Heritage. With its lush nature, full of fruit trees, centenary oaks and water springs, it offers accommodation for large groups spread over 3 family suites that accommodate 14 people and 3 more rooms that can accommodate 6 other guests. All with private bathrooms. The house has free Wi-Fi, period furniture and a nice terrace with panoramic views of the pool, Serras da Cabreira and Gerês. Open access shared spaces for guests are the fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, microwave, stove, wood oven and grill, the historic chapel with piano and the charming living room with fireplace which has over 100 satellite TV and a games table. Outside the house, besides the refreshing swimming pool, there are relaxing gardens full of hydrangeas and lilies.
