Quonset Soil Solutions transforms underutilized forestry by-products into biochar, a scientifically proven, environmentally sound horticultural and agricultural soil amendment with the added benefit of sequestering carbon for hundreds of years. The production and use of biochar from woody feedstock is a carbon-negative process, an alternative to incineration and landfill dumping. Our state-of-the-art facility, powered by equipment designed and manufactured by Norway-based Vow ASA, is currently under construction and will be fully operational by late 2025. The mission of QSS is to make lasting contributions to the circular economy by producing products that help reduce air and water pollution and improve soil health.
