The main goal of the QUTE.sk - Slovak National Center for Quantum Technologies is to create optimal conditions to increase Slovakia’s competitiveness and excellence in research and innovation in quantum technologies, which will play a key role in future industrial and security applications, and in a long-term strategic vision prepare Slovakia for the quantum industry.
The key activities are:
🎓 The creation of an educational study program and the establishment of the international training center eduQUTE with the ambition to become an international training center of European importance.
⚛️ The creation of a virtual institute of quantum technologies iQUTE and bring together individual research teams.
🌐 The development of an entanglement-based quantum layer communication infrastructure netQUTE as part of the European initiative euroQCI.
⏲ The development of a single-photon detector for the needs of netQUTE.
