Our mission is to contribute to the empowerment of the 525 million smallholder farmers, who produce 80% of our food supply, and yet they sell their produce for less than the cost. Collectively we are disrupting the food supply chain and the multi-trillion-dollar food tech industry. Hindered by outdated distribution systems and limited resources, smallholders face significant losses, with estimates indicating that between 30-40% of their harvest goes to waste due to logistical challenges and market inefficiencies. R-ainbow serves as a dynamic online marketplace seamlessly connecting small producers with buyers in real time. It leverages factors such as product availability, location, and stock levels to facilitate efficient and cost-effective transactions. The App endeavors to simplify the process of buying and selling produce, making it accessible, convenient, and sustainable for all parties involved.
