R & D was developed by several individuals who had experienced cumulative trauma illness. Our forearm supports, Morency Rests, were developed to help get injured individuals back to work, dramatically reducing muscle activity in the neck and shoulders, increasing blood flow, reducing fatigue, discomfort, and pain. Our emphasis is on fitting the work to the individual, a departure in today’s work environment and a true application of ergonomics. Improved posture, neutral wrist position, and supported upper extremities improve comfort while reducing the risk of injury. We manufacture products for varied applications and the size of the individual, making us unique in the ergonomic market. All of our products were designed for their value in achieving a more comfortable and productive environment. Our products have been used by thousands of individuals and companies to reduce CTD symptoms and return injured employees to work. In 1994 the Stephen Baker/Liz Andrews family became the plywood base suppliers. In 2019 Steve and Liz acquired the company. We consolidated all aspects of production (plywood, upholstery, clamps, shipping as well as the business office) under one roof. Still and always a limited production, family owned business, we are grateful for the Morency’s contribution to the field of Ergonomics and the development of a quality, practical, functional, beneficial product that has lasted so long and helped so many.
