R Winter Tooling is a modern engineering company based in Rochester, Kent.
The design and manufacture of large and small tooling/fixtures for the Automotive, Aerospace and Renewable Energy industries are major aspects of our business.
We specialise in machining hardened steel press tool systems through to 5 axis trimming of carbon fibre. Our team consists of highly skilled CAD (Catia) and CAM engineers using large capacity 5 axis machines (up to 3.5m) along with a variety of machining centres (VMC). These attributes allow us to produce tooling to a very high standard from the initial design all the way through to manufacture and inspection.
The company has a production side to the business producing low to medium quantity precision production parts by way of milling (including 5 axis) and turning (With Y axis milling). Complemented with full quality and inspection facilities, working within the Military, Aerospace, Marine and Automotive industries
