About Risk, Reliability, and Resiliency Characterization (R3C) Lab
Established in 2023 at Colorado State University by Dr. Vincent Paglioni, the R3C lab focuses on understanding, modeling, and quantifying risk, reliability, and resiliency in complex socio-technical systems, such as nuclear reactors. While chiefly focused on theoretical and computational research in these areas, a physical lab space with a simulated nuclear reactor main control room (MCR) is under development at the Powerhouse Energy Campus. Our core competencies are in systems engineering, human reliability analysis, nuclear engineering, and Bayesian methods.
