Research Academy Ruhr is the joint platform of Ruhr-Universität Bochum, TU Dortmund University, and the University of Duisburg-Essen for promoting early career researchers on their career paths in academia and beyond. Our offers are aimed at the around 10,000 doctoral researchers, Postdocs, and Junior Faculty who are engaged in the University Alliance Ruhr (UA Ruhr).

Mentoring and networking
Our mentoring program for female early career researchers, mentoring³, provides close exchange with experienced professors and peers. Networking is an essential element in all of our offerings. Postdocs and the Junior Faculty, in particular, benefit from the chance to network across our universities, gaining valuable contacts and opportunities for new research projects within the UA Ruhr.
