The Rabbie Burns Ball aims to provide both a fantastic night of entertainment and an eye opening reality to how important talking about our mental health is. Through investing in our Ceilidh band and entertainment, we aim to provide a fantastic evening in Edinburgh with friends, family and colleagues.
While our main focus is that you enjoy yourselves and get to take a break from the dark January days, our underlying message is simple, everyone is going through something. Our fundraising activities throughout the evening allow us to raise some vital funds for the Scottish Association for Mental Health, one of Scotland’s leading mental health charity’s who are undertaking some fantastic projects every year and battling the stigma attached to mental illness.
Words are the most powerful tools we have at our disposal and it is our job as a community, to change the narrative attached to mental health and by being part of our evening, you are contributing to help change this.
A problem shared, is a problem halved.
