Rotaract Club of University of Colombo, Faculty of Management and Finance

The Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance (RACUOCFMF), is one of the five Rotaract clubs based in the University of Colombo. As part of the official youth counterpart of a world renowned service organization Rotary International, our vision since our humble beginnings has been to embark upon a journey of community service, self-development, greater cultural understanding and sustainability. Guided by our theme and belief that “Team Work makes the Dream Work” our club has now grown to a membership of approximately 150 members over the decade. Strengthened by this growing fellowship, the club has consecutively been able to secure a multitude of awards at the Rotaract District Assembly Awards, in all the main avenues of Community Service, Professional Development, International Service and Club Service thereby upholding the Rotary motto of “Service above Self”. As we step in to each year, we collectively take up the challenge of changing an already dynamic society for a better tomorrow. What powers us is our passion towards continuous progress in serving and developing humanity. Furthermore, it’s an inspiration and a true delight to see our past members continuing to be part of this movement by joining community based clubs. Witnessing their positive societal impact partly brought about by the foundation provided by our club, brings us immense pride indeed. A few of our signature projects are “Glass Ice”, “Hero In You”, “Aarambayak” “Rotaraction” and “R-evolution”. We strive towards contributing to the “2030 Agenda” of the United Nations by focusing on Sustainable Development Goals and Rotary Focus Areas when it comes to project planning and execution. Rotaract Club of University of Colombo Faculty of Management and Finance has grown throughout these years with the immense support of its members who have been pillars of strength by contributing to the betterment of the services done by the club.
