One of our previous efforts, Concrete Shield, was a recurring multinational exercise that simulates nuclear or radiological disaster response, humanitarian coordination, and long-term recovery operations. Past iterations have included realistic cross-border scenarios—such as a fictional incident at a Ukrainian nuclear plant along the Danube River, with full participation from Romanian emergency services and U.S. humanitarian response teams.
