NGO RADMYR , Ukraine-Sweden

The Kharkiv Regional NGO RADMYR is dedicated to upholding and advancing the social, economic, cultural, educational, and environmental rights of its members and the broader community. The organization aims to improve living conditions in the region, address social issues, and support vulnerable groups including low-income families, the unemployed, large households, homeless individuals, and those requiring social rehabilitation. RADMYR also aids the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other military units, contributing to national security and defense efforts. To achieve its mission, RADMYR collaborates with government bodies to resolve social, economic, and legal issues, sharing resources and promoting awareness of its goals. The organization supports people with disabilities, enhancing their work opportunities and medical care access. Additionally, RADMYR organizes social, cultural, and sports events, nurtures public spaces, and promotes social rehabilitation for marginalized groups. Key activities include forums, conferences, training, and other socially impactful events, as RADMYR works to foster a strong civil society grounded in democratic principles and the rule of law. It also highlights issues facing people with disabilities, providing organizational and technical support to other civic institutions. RADMYR actively supports educational initiatives, skill-building programs, youth projects, and professional development for members, staff, and volunteers. The organization assists those affected by conflict, refugees, internally displaced persons, and promotes cooperation with military and defense entities. Additionally, RADMYR participates in legislative processes to strengthen Ukraine's political and legal system, advocates for children’s intellectual and moral development, introduces innovative educational technologies, and provides volunteer assistance to healthcare facilities.
