RAHNUMA is the official dramatics society of Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. The name of the society is derived from an Urdu word, which means “the one who guides”. The foundations of our society were laid by some very talented and driven students of this college on 16th November 2013, when Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology became Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women. In the past eleven years of working in this society, we have won numerous street play competitions, and our productions were acclaimed by the masses. We have also given many public performances on various occasions. We believe in spreading awareness by tackling different social issues every year. Our vision is to promote the theatrical art form and nurture an environment where the captivating threads of empathetic storytelling not only entertain but also enlighten.
