The Rutgers Newark Student Managed Fund is an investment fund created by students from the undergraduate community at Rutgers Business School - Newark. The Fund strives to engage students in an experiential learning environment that bridges the gap between the academic theory of finance and industry practice while enhancing ongoing recruitment opportunities. The Fund helps students gain experience through participating in the investment processes from research, security selection, reporting, valuation, and pitches. Participating in the Fund will also prepare students for careers in global capital markets within the field of Investment Banking, Research, Asset Management, Sales & Trading, and various other positions. The Fund aspires to engage with alumni to remain actively involved with the Fund as mentors and advisors on a mutually beneficial platform and continue to build on the outstanding learning experience at the Rutgers Business School - Newark.
