The raiman label began with a sheer love for textiles, coupled with a passion to bring about a revolution in the fast-paced fashion industry today. The prime focus has always been to revive vintage Indian crafts into a modern aesthetic, whilst having a ‘desi’ aura to it.
Raiman graduated back in 2013 from NIFT New Delhi, with an award for the “Best Design Collection”, post which she was inspired by working as an apprentice with Pankaj & Nidhi. They were the ones who motivated her to grow her pool of ideas and creations into something bigger than just one collection, while utilising local talent and quality raw materials - and that is when she set out on the journey to becoming an independent designer in Delhi.
Today, all of the label's handcrafted clothing is created with keeping an independent woman in mind, a woman who sees life as a wonderful adventure. Together with our team of talented local artisans, we make clothing which is soft, vibrant and feminine. We continually create chic and timeless designs with a focus on women who do not want to be consumed by the current, unfortunate cycle of fast fashion and are inclined towards adorning themselves with Indian and locally sourced textiles.
