Rainbo is a celebration of some of Japan’s (and now the UK’s) favourite street food, including gyoza, katsu, bao and more.
Rainbo was founded in 2012 by husband and wife Ben and Xochi, with nothing more than a food truck and a dream to to do what they love - and what they loved was GYOZA! In 2016, having become disenchanted with life as a financial adviser and determined to follow his passion, current owner James ditched corporate City life and took over at the healm.
The goal was to grow Rainbo from a single food truck to London's favourite Japanese street food business. Today we are proud to have 3 permanent sites at Boxpark Shoreditch, Hackney Bridge and Canary Wharf as well as an incredible festival and events team.
We are all about Japanese soul food that is fresh, vibrant and delicious. Our focus is on great food, excellent service and providing the best customer experience we can to every customer we have.
