Rainbow Schools

Rainbow Schools aims to raise the educational standards of government schools in Punjab, India, through systemic change and bring them to the 21st century, by: 1. Working together with local communities, local administrations, schools and other NGO's to nurture and empower local leaders to improve education standards through innovation, collaboration and pride in their local schools. 2. Provide modern research based teacher training that impacts and improves teachers own self confidence, teaching competencies and raises the learning experience for improved learning outcomes. 3. To provide an example of a "model" inclusive primary school as a centre of excellence in teaching and learning. A base for teacher training in inclusive education and outreach services to other schools. 4. Raise awareness of inclusive education in the community through community involvement. 5.
