Sex trafficking is a crisis both globally and right here in Wichita, Kansas. In fact, Wichita is the 5th originating city in America for human trafficking. Each year, millions of women and children are forced into lives of sexual exploitation. Of shame. Of despair. But we believe there is hope. We believe restoration is possible. Because we believe in love. Love can lift the shadowed face. Raise the downcast head. Speak truth to those who so desperately need it. And it can set the captive free. At Raise My Head Foundation, we provide women who are breaking free from sex trafficking a safe residence away from damaging influences where they can receive healing and restoration. We provide a large array of support services with the intent to give these women the opportunity for recovery, growth, and transformation. These survivors are given hope and restoration through our 2-year residential program, support through health services, counseling, and education, and employment through our cottage industry program.
