People in need from French-speaking West-African countries have used social media platforms to ask for help for tragedies relief for the most part but donors in Africa and abroad are reluctant to donate due to unsafe/unfamiliar donation channels available.

It is the most popular crowdfunding platform, but for people outside of North America and some parts of Europe, they do not exist.
