Raising Equity explores racism, sexism, and other social issues through stories about what we need to know and do as adults in the lives of children to create a more equitable world.
Our leader is psychologist, professor, consultant, wife, and mother of two, Dr. Kira Banks, known for her work during the Ferguson Uprising during which she provided counsel to the Ferguson Commission, local activists, and community organizations. Banks' thinking and writing helped frame the path to racial equity in the St. Louis region.
Raising Equity published a podcast under the same name that is found everywhere podcasts are published.
