Raiz - Learning Community

Raiz is a learning community in the village of Amoreira (Fátima) for pre-school and primary school children. This innovative and holistic educational project nurtures each child's curiosity and creativity, respecting their essence. Here we value the deep connection with nature and the connection to the earth, to the roots. Raiz is dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment for children, where playing and learning go hand in hand. Here, children have the opportunity to explore, discover and learn in the middle of a large natural, safe and balanced space. We believe in the importance of playing as an essential part of the educational process. We believe that education should be an exciting journey in which daily gratitude plays a key role. Raiz will inspire the minds and hearts of future generations to be active and creative citizens.
