Since the 2016 earthquake, we’ve built more than houses — we’ve planted opportunities. Fundación Raíz CAEMBA was born as a humanitarian response and now leads a comprehensive development model that transforms communities from the ground up. We begin with dignified bamboo-based housing and grow into a broader ecosystem of change that includes safe water, health, education, arts, sports, livelihoods, and climate resilience. Over 700 homes have been delivered to women heads of household. We’ve built community centers, trained hundreds of people, and created safe spaces for children and youth. All of this is possible thanks to strong alliances with companies, governments, and organizations that believe in sustainable, non-paternalistic solutions. We offer meaningful corporate volunteering experiences, purpose-driven CSR programs, and co-creation spaces aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals.
