About RAKT (Rapid Action Kinsfolk Team), NSS DTU

RAKT is an initiative by National Service Scheme DTU to connect voluntary blood donors with the recipients. We are a group of volunteers who constantly endeavor to search for and contact blood donors as soon as any need comes up. Having organized blood donation drives in collaboration with some NGOs, we also actively encourage more people to donate blood. We feel proud to have helped patients suffering from COVID-19 get the required blood and/or plasma, which is a huge challenge in itself.
