The firm's founding partners, Mr. Shunmugam Ramdas and Mr. David Wong Chin Huat, started out the firm's practice in June 1974 in a small office unit at International Plaza along Anson Road in what was then downtown Singapore. In the initial years, the focus of the practice was on real-estate related transactions. In subsequent years, Ramdas & Wong has grown and developed into a wide-ranging legal practice providing services to both domestic and international clients. The firm's clients include governmental bodies and agencies, statutory corporations, government-linked companies and entities, public listed and private companies, international law firms, financial institutions, insurance corporations, trade unions, unincorporated associations and charitable organizations. The firm's office is now at Raffles Place, in the central business district of Singapore.
