RangeCon

RangeCon is a nonprofit series of events designed to help wounded warriors and transitioning service members in the DC area who are interested in cyber security connect with companies and executives interested in hiring veterans. RangeCon uses indoor firing ranges the same way that golfing events or on-base social events used to connect service members with companies but includes the traditional job fair format. Our events include range time and instruction in addition to job education and self-branding opportunities for service members. Companies get direct access to those service member and veterans interested in transitioning to cyber security. Most service members will have some level of clearance but all have the discipline and motivation that comes with service. These service members may not be directly qualified for immediate positions but by the nature of service have taken to training and excel at challenges.
