Rare Form Promotions was formed as an equal partnership in January of 2002 by Tara Duvivier, Kristy Gomez Derreck Johnson, Eric Raphael and in response to the following conditions:
* Opportunities to create events tailored to cater to an undervalued and underserved audience in NY, including non-profit organizations.
* Wanting to revive the positive aspects of NYC nightlife - art, creativity, inclusion, music - and create an escape from the standard club scene fare.
We specialize in bringing together like-minded individuals and organizations to create events that bring out the best in everyone involved. The best and brightest musicians, DJs, venues and creatives are on our roster of event partners and we're eager to grow that list!
