RSP-APS is aimed at raising
awareness, inform, and educate on rare diseases and/or neurodevelopmental disorders. RSP-APS is
affiliated to ANFFAS Nazionale, a member of TEDDY Network, and has established official
collaborations by signing several memorandums of understanding with health professional
associations such as nurse’s, pharmacist’s, physiotherapist’s. Annually, RSP together with ANFFAS
per Loro organize the Light a Monument project where the two associations ask all the 92 city halls
of Umbria to light one of their monuments for the RDD and the Autism awareness day. RSP has set
up two projects focused on raising awareness on rare diseases by merging science and art, the RSP
Supports and the Rare Art, done in collaboration with artists, artisans, and museums. Recently,
RSP established its KIDS Umbria group, recruitment is ongoing, children and teens will be actively
involved in each RSP initiatives and activities; in addition, specific actions will be developed to
properly engage with them and share relevant knowledge on health and rights related topics.
