RBI is a Medical Devices Startup focused on bringing paradigm-shifting research on PNS trauma repair and sutureless anastomosis of wet tissues, exclusively licensed from Johns Hopkins University, to the Operating Table. Currently we are on the regulatory phase, seeking to obtain the necessary clearances (510(k)s and CE Marks) for our two product lines: Innerva Nerve Guides and BioJoin Biodegradable Connectors. Our vision is in advancing an integrated surgical platform that dramatically simplifies and opens up hitherto highly sophisticated microsurgeries to a much broader spectrum of physicians upstream to the patient (even at the ER), thereby accelerating access to specialized care : "A BioJoin in time saves nine stitches".
