Rautjärven kunta

Rautjärvi on pieni, reilun 3000 asukkaan kunta Etelä-Karjalan pohjoisosissa, aivan Venäjän rajalla. Mahtavia maisemia, jylhiä metsiä ja korkeita kallioita riittää ihasteltavaksi, samoin kuin järviä ja jokia. Erikoisuutena Laatokan lohi, joka pääsee patojen lähivuosina murtuessa nousemaan Simpeleelle asti. Kunnassamme on hyvä asua, elää ja harrastaa. There are spectacular sceneries, rugged forests and high cliffs to admire, as there are also lakes and rivers. A specialty is the Ladoga salmon, which will be able to ascend to Simpele in the next few years when the dams will break. Rautjärvi is a good place to live, love and play.
