Ravens Challenge / Raven Group International, LLC

Ravens Challenge is an international EOD event that brings regional partners from the government, military, law enforcement, academia, and private industry together for a week of national, regional, and international capability, interoperability, and communication. The week-long program in Hua Hin, Thailand provides an opportunity for discussions and training of capability gap improvements to reduce the threat from improvised explosive devices and other acts of terrorism and high threat criminality. Beginning in 2017, Ravens Challenge added an additional week, prior to the main event, to focus on commanders and interagency task force training. This supplementary week also provided an opportunity for the exchange of information between nationalities at the commander level. The need for interoperability and capability cap improvements within regional frameworks is ever more critical with the rising tide of instability that fosters terrorism and insurgency. Ravens Challenge focuses on helping to identify those gaps and begin the regional partnerships to improve public safety and national/regional security. This training is offered free-of-charge to all EOD techs and CIED public safety personnel unable to obtain local funding. This commitment to regional safety is at the heart of Ravens Challenge. Ravens Challenge is organized by Raven Group International and hosted by the Royal Thai Police Unit 191 (EOD) and the entire Thailand EOD community. Over the years Ravens Challenge and the Raven Group has developed key partners in our quest to reduce the threats from IEDs on public safety.
