Ray Pharmaceuticals Limited was established in 1978 as an importer, wholesaler and marketer of pharmaceuticals, surgicals and hospital equipment. We have quickly grown to become the largest healthcare supplier in Kenya. Our vision is to be a leader of innovative, quality healthcare supplies within the East African Community so as to bring the best healthcare to our people. Our products and services orient towards different medical fields: hospital. surgery, private practice (medical care and doctors' offices) and nurses. We identify healthcare industry requirements, product affordability and quality assurance as our benchmark principles when bringing our products ti to the market. Ray Pharmaceuticals was founded by Dr. Dhirendra Shah who, in 2010, was a Legatum Africa Awards for Entrepreneurship Top 10 Finalist out of 2,700 companies across Africa. In 2010, he was also nominated as among the Top Ten Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in East Africa in the Emerging Category.
